Millions of people in the United States have both diabetes and heart disease. Now there's a new FDA-approved medical device that's been clinically validated as a treatment option for people with coronary artery disease who also have diabetes.The new device is called the Resolute Integrity Drug-Eluting Stent. A stent is a wire mesh tube desiged to open a narrowed artery and keep it open.
